All on 4 Dental Implants in Kitchener
A full arch of fixed teeth supported by four implants. Planned with 3D CBCT imaging and placed with X-Guide navigation at our Wilson Avenue office.
What All-on-4 Means
All-on-4 is a way to replace a full arch of teeth, upper or lower, using four dental implants. The implants act as anchors in your jawbone. A fixed bridge of replacement teeth attaches to them. You do not take this bridge out at night. Your dentist removes it only for maintenance.
This approach is often discussed with people who are missing most of their teeth in one arch, have teeth that cannot be saved, or wear a full denture and want something fixed in place. Whether it fits you depends on your bone, your gums, your bite and your general health. That is what your consultation is for.

Planned in 3D Before Treatment
Full-arch work starts with planning. We take a CBCT scan, a 3D X-ray of your jaw. It shows bone height, bone width and the position of nerves and sinuses. We use that scan to plan where each implant should go and at what angle.
Our office uses the CEREC Primescan digital scanner for impressions, so you skip the trays of impression material. We also use PrimePrint 3D printing to make items such as surgical guides and models from your digital plan.
You will see your scan and plan, and we will walk you through it in plain language. See the full list of tools on our technology page.
X-Guide Navigated Implant Surgery
On the day of surgery, we place implants using the X-Guide navigation system. X-Guide gives real-time 3D guidance during placement and follows the plan built from your CBCT scan.
Navigation helps us follow the plan we made with you. Every mouth and every surgery is different, and healing varies from person to person. We will talk through the risks, the recovery and what is right for your case before you decide anything.

Fixed Teeth or Removable Dentures
If you wear a denture now, you have two broad implant options.
- Fixed full arch (All-on-4 style): the teeth are attached to the implants and stay in. You clean around them daily and come in for professional maintenance.
- Implant-supported dentures: a denture that snaps onto implants. You remove it for cleaning.
Both use implants to hold your teeth in place. The right choice depends on your bone, your budget, your cleaning routine and what matters most to you day to day. Compare them on our implant dentures page, then talk it through with us.

All-on-4 Questions
Am I a candidate for All-on-4?
It depends on your bone, gum health, bite and medical history. We assess this at your consultation and with a CBCT scan if needed. Some people are better suited to other options, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Can I remove All-on-4 teeth myself?
No. A fixed full-arch bridge stays in place. Your dentist removes it when needed for maintenance. If you prefer teeth you can take out, ask about implant-supported dentures.
How long does treatment take?
It varies. Healing time, whether teeth need to be removed first and how your bone responds all affect the timeline. We give you an estimated schedule for your case at your consultation.
How much do All-on-4 implants cost?
Cost depends on your plan, including any extractions, imaging and the type of final teeth. We give you a written estimate after your assessment and can help you understand what your insurance may cover.
How do I care for fixed implant teeth?
Brush twice a day, clean under the bridge with the tools we recommend, and keep your regular hygiene visits. We show you how at your appointments.
